Royal Warrant and Scholarship trust

Royal Warrant of Appointment is a mark of recognition granted to individuals, companies or institutions that have provided goods or services to Imperial or Royal Families.

The authority to grant a Royal Warrant belongs to the relevant Royal or Imperial House. The person authorised to confer such recognition is generally known as the Grantor and may be an Emperor, a King, a Queen, a Prince, a Duke or another duly authorised member of the House.

A Royal Warrant is normally issued as a formal document identifying the appointed company or individual in relation to their commercial, professional or institutional activity. The recipient of the appointment is commonly referred to as the “Grantee”.

Where applicable, the Royal Warrant may grant the Grantee permission and responsibility to use or display the relevant Royal Arms, title, name or distinctive mark in connection with the approved activity, product or service, always in accordance with the rules, limits and dignity of the granting House.

This page is continuously updated, as Royal Houses Councilor operates in dialogue with ruling and non-ruling Royal and Imperial Houses to evaluate renewals, new appointments and possible opportunities connected with this noble and prestigious service.

Royal Houses Councilor may also support the creation, development or management of Scholarship Trusts and philanthropic initiatives connected with Royal Houses, noble families, aristocratic lineages or institutional partners.
